  • Details:  This is a clear glass souvenir ashtray from The Fremont Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada.  The ashtray features a triangle shape and the original logo designed in 1956 with an illustration of the building in the 1950's.  Do to its iconic Mid Century shape, The Fremont is seen in several movies including:  1992 - Honey I Blew Up the Kids, 1996 -Swingers, and 1997 - Vegas Vacation.  Although some scenes for Vacation were also filmed at The Mirage, the Fremont is where Wayne Newton performed in Las Vegas, and where he falls for "Ellen" (Beverly D'Angelo), in the movie.  Great piece of Nevada's gaming history, tourist industry memorabilia, and a great collector's item.
