- Details: This is a wonderful blue glass souvenir ashtray from the Showboat Casino Hotel in Las Vegas. The Showboat opened on September 3, 1954, (not to be confused with Harrah's The Riverboat), and operated until 1998 when Harrah's Entertainment bought Showboat but quickly sold it in 2000. They refused to sell the name, (fearing confusion with their Riverboat casino), the new owners re-opened as the Castaways which unfortunately never really did well, mostly because of 9/11 and decrease in tourism, by 2006 it was demolished. Great piece of Las Vegas history, tourist industry memorabilia, and a great collector's item.

- Condition: Vintage - Used. Excellent Condition. These were not high quality glass pieces, but this one is in excellent condition without chips, cracks or other defects.
