This 1940s Ganong's advertisement is a half-page format — smaller and rarer than a full-page ad, and all the more charming for it. It features two children presenting their mother with a box of Ganong's Delecto chocolates — the iconic gold coach-and-horses box introduced in 1941 that became the enduring symbol of the Delecto line. The tagline reads "To the Best of Mothers — The Finest in the Land for Over 80 Years."
