The Bodyguard is a 1992 movie starting Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner.  This was the first acting job for Whitney.  A little known fact is this movie had been actually written back in 1977 with Diana Ross and Steve McQueen in the starting roles. The Houston/Costner movie was a huge box office hit and grossed over $411 million dollars worldwide.  The soundtrack album was one of the best selling soundtracks of all time, selling over 45 million copies.  However, even with all this success, the movie received several "Worst Picture" awards and Worst Actor with Worst Actress going to Costner and Houston.  They both must have laughed and took it all to the bank.
