Four cards built on images that are nearly a century old — which is rather the point.
Punch Studio of Culver City, California produced some of the most beautiful greeting cards of the early 2000s, drawing on the Kirshner Collection of Decorative Arts — a treasury of Victorian and Edwardian ephemera — for their imagery. This set of four features cherub illustrations: a cherub with a watering can, cherubs with a heart, a cherub mailing a letter, and butterflies with flowers. Die-cut with shaped borders, blank inside, each with its original envelope. Retired and no longer produced. New Old Stock, never used.
A lovely set for a Victorian ephemera collector, a card enthusiast, or anyone who still writes Valentine's notes by hand.
