The pink egg carries a white lily surrounded by smaller purple and pink blossoms, set against embossed dots and a touch of glitter at the top. Its partner, in pastel green, is decorated with pink carnations and small blue flowers over a lusterware finish, framed by embossed swirls. Both have the same design front and back, and both are bordered in gold — sweet, well-made pieces from an unknown maker.
A natural fit for Easter and spring decor, or a lovely year-round accent on a bookshelf or desk; sold as a pair, they also make a thoughtful small gift for a hostess or spring birthday.
Embossed floral porcelain eggs like this pair were a popular Easter and spring giftware category throughout the 1990s, often produced by smaller unmarked manufacturers for department and gift stores.
