- Details: This is a wonderful commemorative keepsake medallion from American Greetings. It commemorates the Gulf War against Iraq called Desert Storm, which started in August 1990 and ended February 1991. This item has never been used, it retains its original box. The back of the box reads: “1991 Desert Storm, Protecting World Peace, A fine ceramic medallion that commemorates the spirit of the men and women who are serving our country. The Desert Storm medallion is a thoughtful gift to send overseas – or to keep for yourself as a special remembrance.” If you decorate a Patriotic Tree at Christmas time, this will make a great addition to your decor. Perfect used as part of a Memorial Day, Veterans Day or 4th of July display.
