- Details: This is a truly special bone china box. It was made by Caverswall (see below for brief introduction), exclusively for Harrods. It features Santa emptying his sack of toys by the Christmas tree. There are dolls, a teddy bear, sled, drum and in the background there’s a fireplace with stockings. The same design is on all four sides. The box and lid finial are both rimmed in red. We have not seen many of these for sale, it is a rare find. It is stamped on the back: “Exclusively designed for Harrods by Caverswall Fine Bone China, England”. It retains a gold foil label on top, Its hard to read but looks like this was originally sold containing a tea blend. You can remove the label if you’re not an advertisement collector and these labels are not important to you.
