  • Made by OTTO
  • Vintage:  1977- 1978
  • Details:  This is a Guaranteed Authentic Fleetwood Mac Backstage All-Area Access Laminated Pass from their Rumors concert tour.  It is Unused in Pristine Condition, highly suitable for framing.  The concert tour started on February 24, 1977 in Uniondale, NY to promote their highly successful Rumors album and ended on August 30, 1978 in Baton Rouge, LA.  The band did a total of 96 shows and went worldwide during this tour.  The pass is laminated so will last a long while but lamination edges typically start to fray over time therefore, framing is suggested to keep it in this pristine condition.  The pass is unused old stock, made when OTTO first went in business, and the image quality is basic.  These were found at the OTTO manufacturer warehouse.
  • Materials: Laminated plastic
  • Dimensions:  The actual pass is 3.5 inches Tall and 2.25 inches Wide.  However, including the lamination edges, the piece is: 4.25 inches Tall and 2.5 inches Wide
  • Condition:  Original Old Stock – Never Used.  Pristine Condition

This backstage pass is a big part of the Fleetwood Mac’s history.  The band was always entangled in lots of drama and the recording of the Rumors album and subsequent tour were no different.  At the time Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham had just ended their longtime love affair.  At the same time, Christine McVie was in the middle of a nasty divorce from her husband, bassist John McVie.  Not to be outdone, Mick Fleetwood’s marriage to Jenny Boyd was on the rocks, which lead to an affair with Stevie Nicks.   The band’s turmoil is clearly played out in their brutally honest lyrics.  Anyone who listens to the Rumors album can glean the sadness and pain within the songs.  Rumors is often considered Fleetwood Mac’s best release.  In 2004, Rumours was remastered and reissued this time adding the song “Silver Springs”, originally written by Stevie Nicks but left off the original album because of space constraints.   The Rumors LP has sold more than 45 million copies worldwide, and it’s one of highest-selling albums of all time.
