Details: This bowl has a real down-home, old fashioned country look. We could not pinpoint the date of manufacture but we know that Universal-Cambridge was the maker of bowls and dinnerware from 1934-1954. The bowl has a floral pattern with a blue trim. It is oven-proof, but being so old, I am not sure I’d put it in the oven. It is not heavy, but feels very substantial in your hands. Very simple, very pretty. Great for a country or farmhouse kitchen decor, being so old, we don’t recommend it being used with food, great decor piece!
Dimension: The opening is 9.25 inches in Diameter, 3.25 inches Tall
Condition: Vintage – Used. Good Condition considering its age. There are no chips or scratches on this bowl except for normal wear, however, there is crazing, especially on the inside, there is discoloration (brown spots), and the pattern, as well as the blue rim are showing signs of wear. Also, it looks like long ago someone placed a tape across the bottom and it stayed there very long. The tape is gone, but the residue remains. It can probably be soaked off, but we didn’t want to damage the logo so you could see the provenance. PLEASE SEE PICTURES. Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, they are NOT new. Every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and imperfections. Refunds will not be given unless there’s gross misrepresentation of condition.
