Details: These are not only really cute soup bowls, they are perfect for chunky soups like Seafood Chowder, Gazpacho, Fish Stew, or Shrimp Salad. These are not quite vintage yet, but we couldn’t resist bringing them to you. They have raised sea shells hand painted in peach, yellow and aqua, all caught in a fisherman’s net texture, such a cute idea! To add to the cute factor, the handles are shaped like shells. These are footed bowls and the foot bordered with a rope design and the top border is scrolled like waives. All finished in a high shine glaze. Really well made, they are embossed on the bottom: “Himark Japan”. These bowls are ideal for use during Spring or Summer get-togethers. Not only to be used as a salad or soup bowl but great on a buffet table for serving sauces, gravies (add a pretty ladle) or small food items. Gorgeous displayed in a coastal kitchen as decor. Great gift for a boat house host or beach house/apartment dwellers.
