The company traces its roots to Verrerie Cristallerie d'Arques, a glassworks established in 1825 in Arques, in northern France. The Durand family took control in 1916, and in 1968 the company introduced the Cristal d'Arques brand, mechanizing the production of stemmed crystal glassware and bringing French crystal within reach of far more tables. Because Altesse is no longer made, a single goblet like this one is often the simplest way to complete or repair a set.

Browse our shop for more vintage stemware to round out your table.

Note: The last picture is AI-generated, meant to inspire ideas and showcase the beauty of the piece.
