- Made in USA
- Vintage circa 1930's
- Details: Very high quality label, depicting a Scottish gentleman playing the bagpipes dressed in traditional Scottish Highlands dress which includes the tartan/plaid cloth kilt, sporran, cape, white spats, and hat. All on a solid blue background and bordered in a red Scottish plaid. There's a Sunkist brand orange on the bottom left corner and a thistle flower right above it. On the right side it has the national emblem of Scotland, which has been the thistle since the reign of Alexander III in 1249. It is from the Strathmore Packing House in Strathmore, Tulare County, CA. It's a very large label, perfect for framing, decoupage, or other craft / school projects. It was acquired from a long time dealer who put them away many years ago and is retiring. Framing is recommended to maintain this condition or store in an acid-free bag. Collecting labels has become a very popular hobby, mainly because of the many beautiful and unique images/artwork that can be found. If this is your hobby, we have lots more labels available, please feel free to browse.
