Peach luster and laurel leaves — a combination that reads as quietly luxurious at any table setting.

Fire King's Peach Lustre Laurel pattern is one of the more collectible of the mid-century Anchor Hocking lines — the metallic glaze produces a warm iridescence that shifts with the light, and the embossed laurel band adds just enough decoration to feel intentional without being fussy. Both pieces are footed; the sugar bowl has two handles and is an open sugar, never designed with a lid. Made between 1952 and 1963, before Fire King production ended in 1976.

One small note: there is a minor manufacturing defect on the outside of the sugar bowl near the foot where the metallic glaze didn't fully cover a small area — the color is present, just without the luster. Shown in photos. No chips, scratches, or crazing on either piece.

A gorgeous gift for the Fire King or Jadeite collector, and a warm, glowing addition to any vintage table.
