Details: This is a wonderful piece of Czech Majolica and a very RARE find! This bud flower vase features a bright green frog in hot pursuit of a little red bug. The vase is shaped like an old tree stump with great details of the tree bark and leaves around the bottom. The bottom is embossed on the clay "Czekoslov" the rest is missing but we clearly see this is Czechoslovakian pottery. There is also a number stamped on the bottom of the tree "5031" we're guessing it's the mold number. Overall, this is a very unique piece of decor, hand painted and ready for your sunroom, patio or anywhere you need a little bit of green and whimsy. Majolica is loved the world over because of its whimsical forms and bright colors, it is still one of the most collectible pottery styles. Most Majolica pottery has nature-inspired themes and the more raised decorations it has, the more valuable. Great gift for a Majolica collector, excellent Spring and Summer decor piece!
