A footed round trinket box from Japan, 1970s–1980s, with an embossed lace-like pattern covering the entire surface and three hand-applied roses on the lid, finished with a gold rim. The muted palette reads almost Victorian. Two of the small yellow roses may have minor chipped petals — photographed closely for you — and some leaf color appears worn, though it's difficult to determine if this is intentional treatment or age. The gold rim shows light wear in areas. Everything honest, everything photographed.
