Details: This is a beautiful burgundy lacquer trinket / storage box. It has a lovely hand painted design that looks like fireworks to us and in the center of each firework is a Mother of Pearl bead. The handle is made from a black wooden knob and there's a beautiful silk tassel in red and gold woven within it. Looks like it's signed by the artist plus there are Chinese characters on the lid. The inside is lacquered in black and there's a beige band in the center, when the box is closed, it shows on the outside. Unfortunately there are no markings to identify the maker so we can't tell you much beyond the description. There are a few condition issues, please see "Condition" below. Great for a shelf, living room table decor or to store jewelry and other small treasures.

Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. There are surface scratches, primarily on the bottom, there are also a few very small spots where the lacquer has chipped off, we feel acceptable due to age/use/wear. The painted areas, the Mother of Pearl and the tassel are all in excellent condition. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.
