Details: This is such a pretty trinket box!! This is from a little known USA porcelain manufacturer called Cordey which started in 1942. This lovely box has hand applied pink roses just starting to unfurl, soft pink petals with darker pink inside. There are also tiny blue flowers, we think these are Forget Me Nots, a very popular flower back then. Not only is the lid pretty, the entire box is embossed with roses and then outlined in gold, and the four little feet finish it off in style. Some Cordey pieces had the name embossed on the bottom, this one only has the shape/pattern number, (a little worn), 6049, it most likely also had a Cordey foil sticker, but long gone now. There are a couple of minor condition issues, please see below. Lovely as decor but useful for jewelry, and on the vanity too.
Condition: Vintage - Used. Good Condition. There are a couple of tiny chips, we photographed them for you. No other issues.
