Each piece is a small window into mid-century American life and the art that shaped how that era imagined its past.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eRoyal China Company was founded in 1934 in Sebring, Ohio by Beatrice L. Miller — who was turned away from the bank when she first sought the loan, because a woman in manufacturing was \"practically unheard of.\" Her partner had to return to secure the financing. The company went on to become the largest dinnerware maker in the US by 1965. The Currier \u0026amp; Ives pattern, introduced in 1949–1950, became their most popular line, produced in pink, blue, green, and brown until 1986. A great replacement or addition to a set.
