A small, useful, beautiful piece of American kitchen history.

This clear pressed glass reamer is attributed to Federal Glass — one of the most beloved Depression-era glass makers — though it is unmarked, as was common for the period. The form is classic and elegant, with the satisfying heft and clarity that makes vintage glass reamers so collectible today. The first reamer was patented in the U.S. in 1867, but it was Sunkist's promotional campaigns starting around 1917 that made them a kitchen staple. This example is in excellent condition — no chips or cracks, just the gentle patina of age and use.

A genuinely lovely hostess or housewarming gift, and a beautiful accent in a vintage kitchen. Equally at home on a breakfast table or a collector's shelf.
