  • Pattern:  Acorn Oak
  • Made in: USA
  • Vintage: 1960's - 1970's
  • Details: This is a wonderful reproduction of an antique pitcher made in the early 1900's by Mason, England.  This one is from an obscure company, (we could not find information), called CHAR-DOR in Pennsylvania. It retains its original gold foil label that reads: "CHAR-DOR, Custom Crafted, R.D. 2, Box 237, Leechburg, Pa. 15656".  So they make no attempt to defraud and pass it off as the real one, which is a good thing.  Overall, this is a high quality, well done pitcher, hand painted in pastel colors, the shabby look is intentional, the design is all around the pitcher and not just painted, but embossed for a 3-dimentional look and feel. This is a very heavy piece, will need lots of packaging to travel safely, please keep that in mind at check-out.  Great gift for a lover of ceramics.  Excellent Fall decor piece, but with all the green leaves and branches, it would look good in Spring as well!
