This vintage Jungleland pennant from Myrtle Beach, SC is a genuinely rare find — we scoured extensively and couldn't locate another example like it.

  • Maker: Unmarked
  • Materials: Wool
  • Dimensions: 17.5" long (not including tassels) x 5.5" wide
  • Origin: USA
  • Era: Early 1940s (estimated)
  • Condition: Vintage, used — good for its age. Faded pink tone, some dirt on the tassels and printed white areas, a few small thumbtack holes from prior display. Please review photos closely before purchasing, as all sales are final.

A great addition to a pennant or souvenir collection, and perfect for a Myrtle Beach history collector.

We date this piece to the early 1940s based on its construction, printing style, and restrained two-color palette — pennants from this era typically used only two colors before more elaborate palettes became standard by the mid-1950s. If precise dating matters to you, we'd encourage independent research. Jungleland in Myrtle Beach was operated by Miami's World Famous Rare Bird Farm, which opened in 1938, suggesting this attraction — and its pennant — followed shortly after.
