January 20, 1977. James Earl Carter Jr. became the 39th President of the United States, and this fob was made to mark that day. Commissioned by AAA Novelty of Washington D.C. and made in Taiwan, it carries a detailed portrait of Jimmy Carter with the American flag behind him, marked with the inaugural date. Heavy pewter-color metal, never used, still in original packaging.
