Jeannette Glass introduced the Harp pattern in 1954 as part of a small luncheon and snack serving line — cups, saucers, coasters, a vase, and this cake stand, which is the centerpiece of the set. The name comes from the pressed harp-like motifs worked into the design alongside swirls and stippling; the effect is delicate without being fussy. The scalloped edge and pedestal base are both rimmed in gold, and the detail continues all the way down to the foot.

Made in Jeannette, Pennsylvania for just three years — 1954 to 1957 — making it rarer than many of the better-known Depression-era patterns the company produced. At 10 inches across and nearly 5 inches tall, it's the right height for presentation and the right size for a proper layer cake. In exceptional condition — no chips, cracks, or scratches.

A refined piece for a Jeannette Glass collector, a pressed glass enthusiast, or anyone who wants a stand that makes everything placed on it look more considered.
