Mouse's Blue Angel is his interpretation of the Icarus figure Led Zeppelin adopted for their Swan Song record label, launched in 1974. The original Icarus was inspired by American painter William Rimmer's Evening (Fall of Day), and over time became one of the most recognizable symbols in rock history.
