After the election cycle passed, the brands were discontinued — many of these beautifully printed labels were never used, which is exactly how this one survived. This is a large-format label, heavily embossed and gilded. The smaller portrait-only version of this label is relatively common; this large format, in original unused NOS condition, is a rare find. Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1882–1945) served as the 32nd President of the United States from 1933 until his death in office in 1945 — winning four presidential elections, a record that prompted the 22nd Amendment limiting presidents to two terms. He guided the nation through two of the greatest crises of the 20th century: the Great Depression and World War II.
