The Spice of Life pattern made everything in the kitchen feel worth keeping.
Introduced by Corning in 1972, the pattern became so beloved that Gemco-Ware licensed it to produce a full line of matching accessories — including these ketchup and mustard dispensers, labeled in their charming French: "Sauce de Tomate" and "Le Moutardier." Opaque white glass with the signature colorful vegetables and herbs, chrome plastic lids and pump dispensers. The pump on the ketchup dispenser sticks slightly, and there is a small scratch on one chrome lid; otherwise the set is in genuinely fine condition. The matching sugar bowl ("Le Sucrier") is also listed in the shop.
A great gift for a Spice of Life collector, or a cheerful retro addition to any kitchen that appreciates the pattern. Gemco continued producing this line into the early 1990s despite the pattern's 1987 discontinuation by Corning.
