Welch's has been issuing collectible jelly jar glasses since the Depression era, when Kraft and others discovered that the jar was as appealing as the jam. This 1997 set was issued to accompany Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin, and features four characters: Pooh with Christopher Robin (#1), Owl (#4), Tigger (#5), and Rabbit (#6). The size and shape echo the beloved Swanky Swigs of the mid-century era — small, sturdy, enamel-decorated glass — but these are all Disney, all Pooh, and in very good condition with crisp enamel throughout. Hand wash to keep them that way.
