Mikasa's Royal Suite pattern is an exercise in quiet confidence: vertical ribs running the full length of the oval bowl, a sawtooth rim that adds sparkle without fuss, and a flat handle that keeps the form clean. The embossing is on the exterior, leaving the interior smooth — a detail worth noting for anyone who's ever had to clean a textured sauce vessel. Made in Japan between 1998 and 2008 before the pattern was retired.
The traditional gravy boat form — handle and spout — works beautifully here. Use it for gravy, syrup, warm fudge, or any sauce that benefits from controlled pouring. In excellent condition.
A lovely piece for a Mikasa collector, a formal holiday table, or a kitchen that appreciates clean, refined glassware.
