- Details: This is a fine porcelain collector's plate in a series of Christmas plates from artist Sister Bertha Hummel, issued by Schmid Brothers. This is a beautiful plate, would make a very nice decoration at Christmas time, or as part of the wall plate collection year round. This plate is titled, The Christmas Child, was taken from a painting by Hummel, it is fifth in the collection. This one has pre-drilled holes, currently has a very thin plastic hanger, we strongly recommend replacing with hanging wire, or use a plate hanger, or plate stand, to display it. Retains its original box, a bit yellowed and shows some wear, but good condition for storage. It has a very thin very thin plastic hanger on back, we strongly recommend replacing with hanging wire, or use a plate hanger, or plate stand, to display it.
