- Details: This is a fine porcelain collector's plate from a series of Christmas plates by artist Sister Bertha Hummel, issued by Schmid Brothers. This plate has the blessed holy family, named The Nativity, it's very modern (retro-modern) in style, it's dated Christmas 1973. The plate has the Hummel signature and a pretty blue rim. This is a beautiful plate, would make a very nice decoration at Christmas time, or as part of the wall plate collection year round. There are no pre-drilled holes, but this one has a plate hanger attached, or you can use a plate stand to display it. - Condition: Vintage - Used. Excellent Condition. There are no chips, scratches, or crazing on this plate. It has a hook attached, we'll leave it on for you, however, these tend to dry out over time, we strongly suggest using a plate hanger or plate stand.
