- Details: This is a wonderful collector's plate from a limited edition series of German Christmas plates marked Weihnachten (loosely translated to Christmas, perhaps closer to Holy Night) and dated, this one is 1973. They all have mold numbers, this is mold #440. The plate has a 3 dimensional family showing a basket full of puppies to a gentleman. The border is covered in tiny flowers and it has a gold rim. This is a beautiful plate, would make a very nice gift for a dog lover, the perfect decoration at Christmas time, or as part of the wall plate collection year round. The plate is pre-drilled for hanging, currently has a very thin plastic hanger, we strongly recommend replacing with hanging wire, or use a plate hanger, or plate stand, to display it. - Condition: Vintage - Used. Excellent Condition. There are no chips, scratches, or crazing on this plate. Looks like it's only been used for display. It has a very thin very thin plastic hanger on back, we strongly recommend replacing with hanging wire, or use a plate hanger, or plate stand, to display it.
