Details: This is the very sought after Swan Bowl from MacBeth Evans. It is Art Deco in shape and design and it actually glows green, like Uranium Glass, but it's actually Monax Glass (frequently mistaken for Milk Glass). Monax was developed in the early 1920s, and produced from 1930 to 1936, (the year they were acquired by Corning). The swan is highly detailed and it's on both sides of the oval shaped bowl. The bowl is simply marked: "Made in USA", we know that MacBeth Evans pieces were not marked with the company name. The wonderful look and feel of Monax and intricate Art Deco design, adds a touch of elegance to any room.
