Details: A very romantic brooch, sterling silver marcasite, shaped like a cupid angel holding an open heart. This is a well known Judith Jack design, however, this one is not marked JJ, it is marked S.M.J. in a rectangular cartouche. We know that Judith Jack was purchased in 1991, it's quite possible the new owners continued to use her designs. If the mark is not important to you, this is a high quality piece of marcasite and definitely sterling silver, marked 925. The pin has a roll over safety clap, works very well. Perfect Valentine's Day gift.
