Romantic, maximalist, and unmistakably Italian, this piece is equally at home in a traditional interior, a cottagecore vignette, or simply on a shelf where beautiful things belong. It is stamped on the bottom with the Crown and N logo, the Capodimonte name, and "Made in Italy," with a section of unglazed border — a hallmark of authentic Italian production.

A lovely gift for anyone who loves Italian ceramics, cottage-style decorating, or simply a beautiful thing made with care.

Capodimonte traces its roots to 1736, when the Royal Factory was established in Naples under King Charles III. After the factory closed in 1834, the artists and modelers dispersed across Italy, founding studios of their own and carrying the tradition forward. By the early twentieth century, the famous crowned "N" mark had become a symbol of Italian ceramic artistry rather than a single manufacturer — and because the mark was never trademark protected, it was adopted widely across many independent studios.
