- Vintage: 1920's - 1984
- Details: A very beautiful set of two depression glass candle holders in the very popular Milk Glass English Hobnail pattern (some call this a "Sawtooth" pattern), made by Westmoreland, although these are unmarked, this pattern is known to be theirs. Westmoreland is known for high quality milk glass and this set is no exception. The company introduced this pattern in the 1920's during the depression era and it proved so popular that they continued to manufacture it until the company closed in 1984, it was their longest running pattern and largest pattern line. Although other glass manufacturers called some of their patterns "Hobnail", none are exactly like the Westmoreland's "English Hobnail". This set of candle holders makes a great home decoration for so many different styles of decor. We can see these going into a shabby chic home, farmhouse decor, would love lovely in a country setting, the pattern would fit a coastal home too, and of course beautiful with traditional decor. We have a couple of styles pictured here, we like them with and without candles.
