- Details: This is such a gorgeous Majolica serving bowl, that we decided to bring to you, even though it's not vintage, because we feel it is absolutely beautiful. It's in the shape of a cabbage and has green embossed cabbage leaves and white veins inside and out. We believe this pattern is still being made, however, this bowl is no longer available. It is stamped on the back: "Bordallo Pinheiro, Portugal". This is a very large and somewhat heavy bowl, shipping costs are already included in our price. This would be ideal for an Easter tablesetting, or for a Spring or Summer party. Not only useful as a salad or fruit bowl, but gorgeous displayed on its own.

Bordallo Pinheiro was founded in 1884 by artist Rafael Bordallo Pinheiro, it is a Portuguese pottery of exceptional works. Rafael has won many international exhibition awards for his beautiful, naturalistic designs. They are still in production today and releasing beautiful patterns. They are known for their outstanding collection of Majolica.
