Are all the items authentic antiques?

We deal in vintage and antiques items from a wide range of dates from around 1890’s to the early 1990’s. We also sell reproductions, hard to find items, discontinued items, and new items with an antique look and feel. All items listed have a “Condition” statement and will always be clearly marked as such if not a genuine antique or vintage item. Always read the “Details” we describe and the “Condition”, as well as review the pictures provided to get the best overall information on the item. However, every piece we sell is hand selected either for quality, desirability, cuteness-factor, rarity, collectability or other factors that influence our decisions at the time of purchase.

Do you clean or restore items prior to selling?

We try to keep items in their original condition. If an item has been cleaned or restored in anyway, we will clearly mark this within the item’s Description and Condition.
Many people enjoy the darker patina that builds over time on silver, silver-plate, brass and other finishes, some even love the dust and dirt collected in old bottles, for those reasons we don't typically clean or restore many items. We will always photograph the item in its current condition.

How do I pay for an item?

We accept all major credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Also, Debit cards as long as they have a Visa or MC logo and PayPal payments are also accepted.

Where do you ship to?

We ship to many places world wide, however, due to the current VAT tax requirements, we have stopped all shipments to the EU, until further notice, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  Shipping rates will be automatically calculated once you provide the shipping address. Shipping rates have increased and continue to increase, please know that we do not gain any revenue from shipping fees.  In case the system miscalculates a shipping rate, we will refund shipping overages > $3.00, and we will absorb any additional shipping costs at our expense, within reason.

Can I put an item on hold?

Due to the nature of our business and the limited quantities available on many items, we cannot hold any items. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. 

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We offer several shipping methods from several different carriers.  During check out you will be able to select the service that makes the most sense for you, either based on price or speed, or both. 

You will receive a tracking number, if you experience delays in receiving your order, please use the tracking from your selected carrier.  Your package is out of our control once we drop it off with the shipping carrier and we are not responsible for delays caused by the vendor, weather, holidays, etc.

Unfortunately for most First Class mail there is no way to track shipments.

What is your Refund/Return Policy?

Please make sure you love the item before purchasing, ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD “AS IS”. When purchasing antique and vintage items you acknowledge these are not new items, they are used and will have some signs of wear/use/age. We cannot accept returns or replace your item, in most cases we only have one of each item. If there’s a problem with your order, please let us know ASAP using the Contact Us form provided or email us at support@antigotrunk.com and we will do our very best to make things right. 

The state of Florida does not have laws requiring merchants to accept a return of a purchased item. However, the state does require merchants to post a notice in the store regarding their “no returns accepted” policy. Please accept this as our notice.

Please consider selecting a shipping service that includes insurance for all fragile/breakable items.  If your item arrives damaged or broken and it's insured, the fastest way to receive a refund is through your selected carrier.  Typically claims are filed on the carrier's website.  All will require photos of the broken item, damaged box, and shipping label with your claim.  There is a limited time in which to file a claim, it varies by carrier, please do not delay, file your claim ASAP.  Also, please retain all packing materials including the shipping box, shipping label AND BROKEN ITEM(S) until your claim is resolved.   Sometimes the carriers (especially USPS) will not be satisfied with photos and will require you bring everything to your local post office to receive your refund.

What do you consider Antique or Vintage?

As a general rule, anything over 100 years old is Antique. We consider anything over 30 years old Vintage.

How do you navigate the site?

We have Main Categories called Collections.
The Main Collections are:
Home & Living, Toys & Entertainment, Jewelry, Kitchen & Dining, Christmas, Ephemera, Drink & Barware, Reading Materials, Collectibles & Tobacciana.

You can find this Menu on the header of our website or by clicking the 3 lines on top left of the page when viewed on a mobile device.

Some items may be listed under several categories. For example all “Candle Holders” are listed both within the Decor and within Lighting categories. 
All items are sorted Alphabetical by Default, you may sort as needed by Name, Price, Newest to Oldest, etc.


If you are searching for a specific item, please do not hesitate to reach out to us, we’re happy to help.  We may have it in our inventory but have not posted it yet.
