Are all the items authentic antiques?

We deal in vintage and antiques items from a wide range of dates ranging from around 1890’s to the 1980’s. We also sell reproductions, hard to find items, discontinued items, and new items with an antique look and feel. All items listed have a “Condition” statement and will always be clearly marked as such if not a genuine antique or vintage item. Always read the “Details” we describe and the “Condition”, as well as review the pictures provided to get the best overall information on the item. However, every piece we sell is hand selected either for quality, desirability, cuteness-factor, rarity, collectability or other factors that influence our decisions at the time of purchase.

Do you clean or restore items prior to selling?

We try to keep items in their original condition as much as possible. If an item has been cleaned or restored in anyway, (only if extremely necessary), we will clearly mark this within the item’s Description and Condition.
Many people enjoy the darker patina that builds on silver and silver-plated pieces over time, or the dust and dirt collected in old bottles. We will always show the piece in its current condition.

Speaking of gifts, we can include a free note card, just select the one you’d like at check-out, tell us what you want us to write and we’ll take care of the rest.

How do I pay for an item?

We accept all major credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Also, Debit cards as long as they have a Visa or MC logo and Paypal payments are also accepted.

Where do you ship to?

We ship within the contiguous United States; shipping fees are included in the price for the majority of our items. If you are located in Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico and would like to purchase an item, additional shipping will apply and will be shown prior to purchasing, just complete the shipping address portion and you’ll see shipping fees that apply to your order. You may contact us first for shipping rates using the Contact Form provided or email us at support@antigotrunk.com. Please include your postal code. Typically, those rates are much higher, we want you to be well advised of all fees prior to placing your order with us.

Can I put an item on hold?

Due to the nature of our business and the limited quantities available on many items, we cannot hold any items. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. 

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We use several shipping methods including First Class Mail, and Priority Mail and Flat Rate. You should expect to receive your order within three (3) to seven (7) working days of receiving a shipping notification.

If you experience delays in receiving your order, contact us immediately using the Contact Form provided or email us at support@antigotrunk.com if there is a tracking number, we can help confirm the status of your order. Your package is is out of our control once we drop it off with the shipping vendor and we are not responsible for delays caused by that vendor.

Unfortunately for most First Class mail we have no way to track the shipment.

What is your Refund/Return Policy?

Please make sure you love the item before purchasing, ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD “AS IS”. When purchasing antique and vintage items you acknowledge these are not new items, they are used and will have some signs of wear/use/age. We cannot accept returns or replace your item, in most cases we only have one of each item. If there’s a problem with your order, please let us know ASAP using the Contact Us form provided or email us at support@antigotrunk.com and we will do our very best to make things right. 

The state of Florida does not have any laws that force merchants to accept a return of a purchased item. However, the state does require merchants to post a notice in the store regarding their “no returns accepted” policy. Please accept this as our notice.

The majority of our packages ship Priority Mail and are Insured to protect our customers. If your item arrives damaged or broken, the fastest way to receive a refund is through the United States Postal Service (USPS). You may file a claim at usps.com, but keep in mind they will require photos of the item, damaged box, and shipping label with your claim. If you would like us to file the claim on your behalf, please Contact Us via email at support@antigotrunk.com as soon as possible, there is a limited time in which to file a claim. You will need to send us all the required information and pictures, as well as keeping all materials including the shipping box, shipping label AND BROKEN ITEMS until your claim is resolved. Many times USPS will not be satisfied with photos and will require you bring everything to your local post office for inspection.

What do you consider Antique or Vintage?

As a general rule, anything over 100 years old is Antique. We consider anything over 30 years old Vintage, although we’ve seen items that are 20 years old be called Vintage, we are a bit more conservative.

Holiday Shipping Schedule

Due to continued challenges with worldwide supply-chains, unexpected delays are still possible. Ship your orders as early as possible, below dates are estimated by each carrier and can change due to volumes, weather and other challenges.  For your items to arrive by December 25th, please place your order two days prior to the below shipping dates:

How do you navigate the site?

We have Main Categories followed by Sub-Categories.
The Main Categories are:
Art, Barware, Brass, Books/Comics/Magazines, Children, Children/Toys, Christmas, Collectibles, Decor, Glass / Crystal, Jewelry, Lighting, Other (these are non-vintage items), Seasonal, Servingware, Serving Pieces, Sets, Silver/Gold/Electroplate, Tableware and Tobbaciana.
As an example if you go to the Main Category “Tableware” you can browse everything we have or you can click on the picture of the Subcategory you’re interested in like: “Bowls” or “Cups/Saucers/Mugs” or “Flatware” and only view those items.
Some items may be listed under different categories. For example all “Candle Holders” are listed both within the Decor category as well as under Lighting category. A set of glasses may be listed within Sets as well as Barware.
All items are sorted Alphabetical by Default, you may sort as needed by Name, Price, Newest to Oldest, etc.
