Jasperware was made in several colors, including cobalt blue, lavender and green, and Wedgwood blue became its signature. The Bute bowl, also called a mazer bowl, takes its form from the mazer, a medieval communal drinking and feasting bowl, and here it is given the classical decoration Wedgwood is known for.

Browse our shop for more Wedgwood and blue and white pieces to round out your collection.

https://www.antigotrunk.com/en-ca/products/bowl-bute-mazer-blue-jasperware-wedgwood-bisque-porcelain-vintage-1954
