Gasoline stations, plumbers, beauty salons, even large companies like Coca-Cola, have all gifted items, including thermometers. They figured these would not be thrown away as easily as a sign, so the practice continued well into the 1960's. These became so popular as home decor and collectibles, that in the 1980's some companies made reproductions with a retro-feel. This piece is a true original, not a reproduction, and it's in perfect working condition. This has a much-loved 1945 print from Henry Hintermeister called "Hunting Dogs". Shows two dogs by a lake, busy at their favorite activity, while their owner hides in the brush. This piece was given out during the holidays in 1952 with a new mini calendar for the upcoming 1953 year, on the back. The advertisement is for Samuel Galinsky, a plumbing and heating company in Jacksonville, FL, (no longer in business). It is framed in a gold-tone metal frame and it can be hung on the wall. This piece would make a nice addition to any man-cave, home bar, or rec-room. It retains its original gold foil label that reads: "CHAR-DOR, Custom Crafted, R.D. 2, Box 237, Leechburg, Pa. 15656". They make no attempt to defraud and pass it off as the real one, which is a good thing. This is a very heavy piece, will need lots of packaging to travel safely, please keep that in mind at check-out. Great size for entertaining. Perfect as Fall decor, but with all the green leaves and branches, it would look good all year round.

Materials: Ceramic

Dimensions: 10.0 inches Tall, approx. 8.0 inches Wide (handle to spout)

Condition: Vintage - Used. Excellent Vintage Condition. There are no chips, scratches, or other defects on this piece. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.

Vintage Planter, Bunny Rabbit with Green Bow, Easter Decor, Spring, Mid Century, Cache Pot, Japan Imports, Patio Decor, Farm Animal, Realistic, Baby Nursery, Baby Shower, (Discontinued)

Vintage: 1950's - 1970's

Made in Japan

Details: This is such a cute planter / cachet pot and ready for Easter! It is a very detailed bunny rabbit with his fluffy cottontail, expressive red eyes, light pink nose and pink ears. He is wearing a large green bow tied around his neck. This piece looks hand painted and retains its original foil label that reads: " Fine Quality A Japan". The bottom is stamped with the numbers: 58012. Could be either Arnart or Arco but we believe this was made by Arco, they always used the "Fine Quality" word mark on their labels. There is no drainage hole so perfect as a cachet pot or vase. Great hostess gift with a little plant or for your own home decor. Perfect as Easter decor. Would look very cute in a baby's nursery or for a Baby Shower bunny theme.

Materials: Ceramic

Dimensions: Approx. 7.0 inches Long, 3.5 inches Wide (at its widest point) and 4.5 inches Tall

Condition: Vintage - Used. Excellent Condition. There are no scratches, chips or crazing on this piece. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.

Vintage Serving Plate / Chop Plate, Bavaria Germany, Apples Plate, Apple Orchard / SCH16, German Porcelain, Elegant Tableware, Kitchen Decor, Mid Century, Large Serving Plate, (Discontinued)

Made in Bavaria, Germany

Vintage: 1960 - 1970

Details: This is a beautiful porcelain platter, or chop plate, made in Germany by Schumann Arzberg. It has a gorgeous decoration of apples and nuts in vibrant colors. We don't believe this pattern had a name, simply known as SCH16, but we like the name Apple Orchard. There are smaller fruits scattered around the border which has a pretty embossed porcelain design, and gold rim. The backstamp includes the Schumann Arzberg logo: "Bavaria Schumann Arzberg Germany" plus it has the blue E&R logo. This backstamp was used between 1960 and 1970, the Golden Crown E&R relationship with Schumann ended in 1976 so we can safely assume this platter is from that time frame. This would make a wonderful gift.
