But it doesn't stop there, what takes these to the next level is the shape, kidney shaped, with embossed swirls and leaves plus lovely spikes on the rim, beautifully done! Although these are not marked, we were able to find the exact shape dishes, (with a different flower pattern), and the mark seems to indicate Bavarian porcelain either from Schonwald or Schirnding, either way, a very old porcelain from very fine makers. All are stamped with the number 52, that is not the year, these are much older, that is most likely the mold or pattern number. These are a pretty addition to your table, not only as bone dishes but these would make perfect Tapas or hors devours dishes.

Materials: Porcelain

Dimensions: Each dish measures: 6.5 inches Long, 4.75 inches Wide (at its widest point), approx. 1.5 inches at its tallest point.

Condition: Vintage - Used. Excellent Condition. We can't find anything wrong with any of these dishes except for a bit of wear on the gold and decals. Acceptable due to age/use/wear. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. If any of these dates are important to you, please let us know so we can send you the desired plate. They all have the old backstamp, ours is red: "Spode's Jewel, Copeland, Spode England, Reg No 70392 U.S. Pat. In 1833 Spode was purchased by a partner of Josiah Spode III named William Taylor Copeland. Mr. Taylor entered into a partnership with colleague Thomas Garrett, and the firm was known as Copeland & Garrett until 1847. After 1847 the business continued until 1970 as W.T. Copeland and sons, and again the term 'Spode' or 'Late Spode' continued in use alongside the name of Copeland. The company was sold to the Carborundum Company Ltd. by the Copeland family in 1966. In honor of the company's 200th anniversary in 1970, the name was changed back to "Spode" in honor of its founder, Josiah Spode. Spode merged with the Worcester Royal Porcelain Company in 1976 to form Royal Worcester Spode, however, the purchase did not include Royal Worcester or Spode manufacturing facilities. In 2006, the business merged with Royal Worcester. The merged company entered administration on 6 November 2008. The brand names Royal Worcester and Spode, the intellectual property and some of the stock were acquired by Portmeirion Group on 23 April 2009. Many items in Spode's Blue Italian and Woodland ranges are now made at Portmeirion Group's factory in Stoke-on-Trent.

Vintage Bread & It was founded by Beatrice L. Miller, William H. Habenstreit and John Bert Briggs. They started low funds, workers agreed to work without pay until business grew. Originally their inexpensive dishware was sold at dime stores or were given away as premiums in grocery stores and gas stations. But their wares gained popularity quickly, their most popular pattern during this time was “Blue Willow”. In 1943, the plant was converted to produce china and porcelain. In 1949-1950, they introduced a new line called “Currier Ives” which became even more popular than Blue Willow. The C & I patterns were made in green, brown, blue and pink, from 1949–1986. By 1965, Royal was the largest in the U.S.. Mr. Miller retired in 1969 and sold the plant to the Jeannette Glass Co. of Pennsylvania. In the 1970's after having to rebuild due to a fire, they became the largest dinnerware plant in Sebring, and the third largest in the United States. Jeannette Glass/Royal was purchased by Coca Cola Bottling Co, and then was sold to an investors group, The J Corporation. By 1986 all operations had ended. An interesting fact about this company, when Miss Miller went to the bank with the proposal to purchase the building, she was turned away because in those days a woman in manufacturing was practically unheard of, so Mr. Habenstreit had to go back to the same bank. From this Royal Warrant the company was then able to trade as ‘Royal Doulton‘, the name we all know today. Royal Doulton is no longer a family owned business, they merged with Minton in 1968, acquiring Royal Albert from the merger with AEP in 1971. It was founded by Beatrice L. He was approved for the loan.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0624/1733/8577/products/IMG_5494-scaled_d0ff1b6f-d54c-4cbe-8ca8-e5e8c7d419ec.jpg?v=1713385308
1959-cadillac-coupe-deville-convertible-decorative-plate-by-marla-shega-slice-of-life
Dinner Plate, Slice of Life, 1959 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, Marla Shega

Decorative Dinner Plate, Slice of Life 1959 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, Industrial Style Illustration, Automobilia, Black & White Wall Plate, Home Decor, (Retired)

Made in: Indonesia

Not Vintage: 2002

Details: This is actually part of a dinnerware set by 222 Fifth, (PTS International), from their "Slice of Life" collection, however, we think it also makes a wonderful decorative wall plate. It is an illustration by Marla Shega of a 1959 Cadillac, a huge automobile that was very desired by all cool people & elites in the 1950's and early 60's, the era of the "tail fins". The plate is stamped in the back and it also reads: "Love it or hate it, this is the original All American Land Yacht, the GRANDE DAME of automobile design excess. But one must admit, it would be great to have one in which to cruise down main street on a Saturday night, especially in this, "The Convertible Coupe DeVille". The plate features a very large border with the Cadillac logo all around. It is all done in a very industrial style, looks like a charcoal drawing, enhanced to show detail. The plate is large at 11 inches in diameter, it is dishwasher and microwave safe. This piece would make a wonderful gift for a car collector, someone born in 1959, or for a lover of all things Mid Century Modern. Great decor for a man-cave, or a teenager's room, a study decorated with a 50's theme or car theme. If you're collecting the Slice of Life dishes, we hope this piece brings you closer to completing it.

Material: Ceramic

Dimensions: 11.0 inches in Diameter

Condition: Used. Excellent Condition, There are no chips, cracks, or scratching, looks as if never used. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. Please remember these are USED items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.

The automobile 'tailfin era' styling encompassed the 1950's and 1960's, peaking between 1955 and 1961. It was a style that spread worldwide, as car designers picked up styling trends from the US automobile industry, where it was regarded as the "golden age" of American auto design. They first became popular in 1948 with each design getting bigger and bigger tailfins on every new model. The most extreme tailfins appeared in the late 1950s, with the 1959 Cadillac Eldorado and the 1959 Chevrolet Impala.

Vintage Dinner Plates, Pickard Remembrance Pattern, Blue and White Flowers with Platinum Rim, Mid Century Elegant Dinnerware, Pickard Fine China, Traditional Tableware, Wedding China, (Discontinued)

Made in USA

Vintage: 1968

Details: These plates are absolutely beautiful! Part of the beauty is in their simplicity, bunches of tiny flowers in very soft soothing colors: blue, violet, grey, aqua and white, just beautiful! Good for mixing with other china in similar colors. These are large dinner plates the design repeats around the border, there's also a platinum verge and a platinum border. The plates are stamped in the back: "Pickard China, Made in U.S.A., Remembrance, 1968". Hand Washing is strongly recommended. We are selling this set of 4 and we also have a set of 6, if you'd like all 10 plates, please Contact Us or email us at support@antigotrunk.com for a 15% discount code. We have several other items in the Remembrance pattern including the serving platter and salad plates, please browse the site if you're interested in more. Gorgeous for a Bridal Shower or small intimate Wedding.

Materials: Fine China

Dimension: 10.5 inches in Diameter

Condition: Vintage - Used. Excellent Condition. There are no cracks, chips, or scratches. Some of these plates look as though they've never been used. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. All sales final. It was founded by Beatrice L. This was an exclusive pattern for Max Schoenfeld (that's the MS on the back stamp). Max was was a California distributor of china and pottery in the Los Angeles area and distributed for many different porcelain houses. Some designs were given to him as "exclusives" only he could sell them, and the initials MS would be added to the back of the each piece. Because of it's various colors and grapevine pattern, we find this to be an easy pattern to mix and match and use with many different styles.

Materials: Fine China

Dimension: 10.75 inches in Diameter

Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. There is wear on the platinum rim. We have two plates, both in similar condition.
